STUDENT ACTIVITY PROGRAM

The Student Activity Program at Colegio de Sta. Rosa aligns with the educational goals of fostering the total development of a Roseña. It encompasses co-curricular and extracurricular activities that are holistic and supportive of student learning. A variety of meaningful activities are offered as a break from classroom routines. Clubs and special programs provide supplementary channels for students to develop their talents, skills, and creativity. The Student Activity Program is closely coordinated with the Academic department to ensure smooth implementation of its objectives.

A. General Objective: The Student Activity Program is designed to promote the development of Roseñas through their active participation in a wide range of co-curricular activities throughout the year.

B. Specific Objectives: Colegio de Sta. Rosa Makati aims to:

Develop a strong sense of leadership and followership among students through their involvement in various activities.

Foster responsible Roseñas who embody the school's vision and mission.

Enhance academic skills through peer interaction

Provide student leadership training to develop leadership skills and confidence.

Cultivate interests, skills, and talents to empower students to become productive and service-oriented members of the school community.

Foster the application of values learned through group work.

Roseñas may join:
A. Recollect Student Council (RSC)
The purpose is to allow Roseñan leaders to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service ·

Candidacy for any position in the Student Council is open to all qualified students from Grades 3-6 (Grade School) and Grades 7-12 (High School).

B. Discipline Committee·
Members ensure that students obey rules and remain orderly and peaceful in under educational objectives on the campus.

CLUBS AND EXTRA-CURRICULAR OFFERINGS AT CSR-MAKATI

Colegio de Sta. Rosa-Makati offers a variety of extracurricular activities to complement the academic experience of every Roseña. These clubs and programs provide opportunities for students to explore their talents, develop skills, and express their creativity. Every student (Grades 1-High School) is encouraged to participate actively in club activities. Club meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, with specific times for grade school and high school:

Grade School: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
High School: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Academic Clubs:

Explorers' Club (GS) & Genyo Club (HS): Investigate, experience, and enjoy the wonders of science through fun activities and the application of scientific and technological concepts in real-life situations.

Math Club: Develop higher-order mathematical thinking skills to tackle challenging math problems.

EnglishERA Club: Enhance your speaking skills and practice communication techniques learned in English class.

Computer Club & Digital Wizards Club: Explore the world of computers and gain valuable digital skills.

Arts and Literature Clubs:

Theater Arts Club (GS) & Teatro Roseña (HS): Gain experience in acting, directing, and props making while participating in school plays. Athletic Clubs·

CSR Dance Troupe/ BailaRosa Showcase the dance skills in school programs and competitions, while building self-confidence and teamwork. ·

Special Ballet Classes Since 2010, Colegio de Sta. Rosa Makati has been in partnership with ACTS Manila to offer classical and modern ballet.

Spiritual Organizations:

Recollect Augustinian Youth (RAY): is a youth organization affiliated with the Order of Augustinian Recollects It provides opportunities for Roseñas to deepen their faith through prayer and spiritual exercises, participate in community service, and develop leadership skills through training and workshops ·

Ministry of the Altar Servers: Assist during Eucharistic celebrations and other religious activities after attending training.

SOCIO-CIVIC CLUB 26. Social Action Club – aims to reach out to less fortunate brothers and sisters through feeding, catechism lessons, home visitation, academic tutoring, sports and other dole out activities.
