CSR Child Protection Policy:
- Foremost of all considerations, CSR teachers and learning facilitators shall act as substitute parents. They are empowered to exercise the special parental authority and responsibility over the child under their supervision, instruction, custody and adhere to a positive and non-violent discipline of children.
- The school adopts a zero tolerance policy for any act of child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying and other forms of abuse.
- Pursuant to the Charter on the Rights of Children (CRC), the school is committed to protect pupils and students from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury and abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment and exploitation; violations of which by any pupil/student will subject one to the procedures outlined in the Student Handbook, and any personnel will be subjected to the procedures in the Operational Handbook.
- Furthermore, in the spirit of the nation’s Constitution, the school shall: inculcate in the pupils and students patriotism and nationalism, foster love of humanity, respect for human rights, appreciation of the role of national heroes in the historical development of the country, teach the rights and duties of citizenship, strengthen ethical and spiritual values, develop moral character and personal discipline, encourage critical and creative thinking, broaden scientific and technological knowledge, promote vocational efficiency in accordance with the individual pupil’s/ student’s capacity and goodwill.
