A  ROSEÑA CREED

             I am a student of Colegio de Sta. Rosa.  I am a Rosena.  Like a rose planted in the garden of the Lord, I shall grow in the splendor of goodness, love, patience, and truth with humility as its strong foundation.  I believe in the vision/mission of my school.  Therefore, I will strive to be Morally Upright, Intellectually Competent, and Service-oriented.

 To be morally upright, I will

  • worship God and obey His commandments;
  • protect and preserve my country’s natural resources;
  • love and honor my country and show respect for the Philippine flag;
  • respect and obey my parents and other elderly members of my family at all times;
  • show courtesy to others, anywhere, at anytime;
  • demonstrate femininity, moral character and personal discipline in any given situation;
  • respect and abide by the policies, rules and regulation of my school written on the student handbook.  I recognize that these policies were created for my own safety and well-being, hence, I promise to:

  • respect and obey my teachers, school authorities and personnel, ARSC officers, discipline committee members, club, and class officers;
  • wear my regular and gala uniform properly with its prescribed footwear;
  • “wear” my identification card in school at all times.  I will not tamper, deface or stick anything on it.  I will never use other person’s I.D. card;
  • Never use vulgar or inappropriate words or expression verbally, in writing, or in any social networking sites, neither will I post any indecent pictures on the said sites;
  • observe good grooming.  I will look nice and simple (no hair coloring, no make-up, lipstick and the like, no nail polish – my nails will always be short and clean;
  • come to school regularly and punctually at all times.  I will avoid being frequently absent or late.  If I am not able to attend class due to any reason, I will present an excuse letter from my parents regarding my absence;
  • show proper behavior during classes, assemblies and school programs;
  • keep my classroom and school surroundings clean.  I will not eat in the classroom.  I will not litter and spit on the ground.
  • avoid wearing attire and footwear that are not allowed in school.  I will always try to look decent and respectable;
  • never leave the school premises during class hours without valid reason and permission from proper school authorities;
  • submit reply slips with my parent’s signature on time;
  • bring the student handbook and student diary or planner in school every day;
  • avoid conflicts with others, and if I failed to, I will resolve it  in  a civil and peaceful manner;
  • not commit  school offenses specially major ones like:  smoking, cheating, stealing, bringing and drinking liquor, tampering of school’s official documents, assaulting any person, vandalizing school property, cutting classes, bullying, lying, gambling, bringing of cellphone and other gadgets not allowed in CSR.

To be intellectually competent, I will 

  • listen attentively during classroom discussion;
  • participate actively during class activities;
  • perform school or class tasks as instructed by my teachers or leaders;
  • do my homeworks, projects, and other tasks diligently;
  • submit school and subject requirements on time;
  • prepare needed school materials and books before leaving for school;
  • avoid doing anything that may distract me from my studies like excessive use of computer and other gadgets for non-school related matter, staying late watching TV and the like, or chatting long hours on the phone;
  • find time to go to the library and read variety of books and other worthwhile reading materials;
  • enhance my academic and social skills through wholesome and intelligent interaction with my school mates;
  • participate actively in club activities, specially the one I belong to;
  • welcome opportunities for growth and self-improvement like accepting leadership tasks, participating in school competitions and the like;
  • show  patience and perseverance in any given situation in school specially, when there are difficulties in academics or other school activities.


To be service-oriented, I will

  •  help those in need wherever I am, whenever, and  in whatever way I can;
  • participate in the school’s outreach activities;
  • promote “bayanihan” spirit, generosity, and selflessness;
  • share my talent if needed, during school programs and other activities;
  • pray for my church and the religious, my country and its leaders, my  countrymen, my school, teachers, friends, and my family;


    COLEGIO DE STA. ROSA envisions a community of committed Christians,
                who, in one mind and one heart in God, are morally upright, intellectually
     competent, and service oriented.
